Team Teagan Update | 4-28 |
|
Hello Team Teagan,
She’s Home! A complete surprise, but a welcome one. Her counts are rising and they decided it was safe enough. The boys were thrilled, to the point where the whole family danced to the ALL AMERICAN REJECTS, in the family room. Just glad that the curtains were drawn otherwise the neighbors seriously would have bet we lost it… Today we made a family field trip to the Circus at the TU Center, Teagan was cheering, clapping and yelling as the clowns and performers did their acts… I think Holly and I enjoyed watching her more than the show itself.
Unless something goes wrong, they will be home about a week and a half before she starts her next round of Chemo, which will last about a week, followed by the expected fever and return visit to the hospital until her numbers go back up… anyone dizzy yet?
Last week was a rough one, and having them home certainly eases the stress somewhat, but we’ll take one day at a time, and savor each and every one of them with all our children.
Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and emails after my last update. We know that with the continued support of our friends, family and neighbors we will make it through this emotional and difficult time in our lives. We are truly blessed to have you.
Be well,
Juergen, Holly and Kids |
