Team Teagan Update | 6-11
Hello Team Teagan,

"Postponed", Teagan's admission to Club AMC was postponed until the 19th of June, due to her having a nasal infection. We're OK with that, as this will allow her to be home for not only her birthday on the 18th, but also that of Tyler, who turns 9 on June 13th.

We've had some people ask for our address to send birthday cards, so I'm including that at the bottom of this posting in case you wanted to send Teagan a card for her 2nd birthday.

This weekend was very uneventful other than all the kids having had a blast running around at the TreePaad Fundraiser. Teagan ruled the place, as she plowed through kids of all ages and sizes to manipulate the multilevel Fort Ballocity. We'd like to thank everyone who attended and was involved in making this event a success.

Parker (our Dog), is now home with us to live out his remaining days, we're trying to keep him comfortable with medication, which sofar seems to help. He's definately down on energy, but still seems to be moving around the house and yard OK. The vet told us to expect "BAD" days as his condition gets worse. We told Tyler that Parker has cancer and will unfortunately die soon. We tried to explain to him that his cancer is different than Teagan's, and could not be treated. He seemed to understand, but started asking lots of questions about Teagan's condition and if she's going to die too. He also asked about Holly's brother who has been dealing with cancer since last year that does not react to Chemo... We decided to offer Tyler some counseling to help him deal with some of his fears, which we obvioulsy all have. Tanner understands that she is sick, but thankfully does not grasp the whole severity of the leukemia, other than that he misses her and mommy when they are away. I think we'll keep his mind as innocent as possible for now.

Our next event is June 30th at the Saratoga State Park. a 5k Walk/Run. Check out the event flyer for info.

Thanks to all for your continued support and prayers.
